Storying Futures Co-Creative Heritage Festival at Moulsecoomb Place
About this Event
What stories, ideas and dreams could shape the future of Moulsecoomb Place?
Developed by the University of Brighton in partnership with East Brighton Trust, Storying Futures invites you to imagine possibilities of Moulsecoomb Place through storytelling, design, participation, and immersive experiences.
During your visit you can share your stories and ideas:
- Experience immersive virtual reality
- Play a co-creative futures game
- Contribute to a growing community archive
- Explore Interior Architecture student visions for Moulsecoomb Place
No special knowledge is needed. Just bring your curiosity and imagination. Your experience can last anywhere from 15 to 90 minutes. Afterwards, you're welcome to stay and enjoy the gardens, explore the historic surroundings of Moulsecoomb Place, and spend time with fellow participants. Your ideas will help East Brighton Trust to design future programmes for Moulsecoomb Place with community at heart.
Storying Futures is led and curated by Dr Zakkiya Khan and Dr Rafaella Siagkri at the University of Brighton in partnership with East Brighton Trust and Interior Architecture Students.
The festival showcases creative design work developed by Interior Architecture students at the University of Brighton, presenting a range of speculative proposals that reimagine the potential of the Tithe Barn at Moulsecoomb Place.
