About this Event
For six weeks, we will explore creative writing methods that help you find empowerment in the events of your life that shaped you. Through guided exercises, storytelling prompts, and supportive discussion, you will learn how to transform personal experiences into compelling stories. Whether you are interested in memoir, personal narrative, or fiction inspired by your life, this workshop will teach you practical techniques for shaping meaningful moments into engaging writing.
Participants will explore themes such as character, voice, emotional truth, and narrative structure while discovering how everyday experiences can become powerful stories on the page. You will learn how to recognize your own heroic journey within the events of your life and develop the confidence to write those stories with authenticity and creativity.
This workshop is designed for writers of all experience levels. No prior writing experience is required--only curiosity, openness, and a willingness to explore the stories that have shaped you.
