Outdoor storytelling returns to downtown Tahlequah! Join us every Wednesday morning in June for “Stories on the Square” at the Cherokee National Peace Pavilion. Each week will feature a different storyteller, beginning at 10 a.m., followed by a cultural activity for all ages. “Stories on the Square” is free and open to the public.
On June 17, storyteller and actress Candice Byrd-Boney will share traditional Cherokee stories. You may know Candice from her portrayals of Sequoyah and her appearance on “Osiyo, Voices of the Cherokee People.”
