Join us Tuesday, June 16th, 2026, for Feeding Chickens without “chicken feed”
Tahlequah First Baptist Church- Upstairs in the activities building
Doors open 6:30PM—Gathering starts 7:00PM
Our Cherokee County Board Leaders will be showing you a couple DIY methods on ways you can feed your chickens without commercial chicken feed. Sabrina Hundley, Chapter President will be teaching on growing your own Micro Greens. Marlo Johnston, Chapter Education Coordinator will be showing you how to DIY your own Black Soldier Fly Compost bins.
Snack Table: Water will be provided for all Gatherings, feel free to bring a snack to share with the group.
Swap & Shop: Set up shop and barter/trade/sell your homemade homestead wares to the Chapter Community.
Gatherings are FREE to attend and open to all ladies aged 16 and over, and nursing mothers. We welcome and encourage all homestead journeys big and small, come find like minded ladies to grow and share your knowledge with!
