The training session will be delivered by the Illegal Money Lending Team and will cover everything you need to know about danger of borrowing from loan sharks including:

• What is a loan shark?

• The impact of illegal lending on vulnerable people

• Why people borrow

• How to identify the signs of illegal lending and what to do if you suspect it’s happening

• Work the Illegal Money Lending Team is engaged in to tackle the problem and how we will work with you to protect and assist victims
