Stoneware Glazing Workshop: Northern Lights Create a stunning, one-of-a-kind stoneware mug inspired by the magical colors and movement of the Aurora Borealis. In this 3-hour glazing workshop, you’ll learn glazing techniques designed to layer, blend, and flow color across the surface of your mug for a truly unique finish.
This workshop is suitable for complete beginners as well as practiced potters looking to explore new glazing approaches. You’ll choose your mug form and be guided step-by-step through the glazing process in a relaxed, supportive environment.
Stoneware mugs are durable, dishwasher safe, and microwave safe, making them perfect for everyday coffee, tea, or cocoa. Whether you’re creating a thoughtful handmade gift or crafting your own new favorite mug, this workshop is a beautiful way to combine creativity with function.
Workshop Cost:
$15 workshop fee + the cost of the mug selected (~$35 – $45)
All glazing instruction, firing, and finishing included.
Mugs will be ready for pick up approximately 7-10 days after the workshop.
