Hi All! The Stomping Jacksons are thrilled to lead the Lorain Firefish Festival Parade for a second year!! There is no place like historic downtown Lorain, Ohio. For real.
Join the groovy street scene along Broadway Ave. and tune into the creative works of an entire community. The parade was originated by a "festival activist", James Levin. If you know Joan Perch, the community will be a featured aspect of the art created and presented that night. Show up. You WILL be inspired!!
Per the festival: FireFish Festival 2026 ignites Lorain with
-Freedom Lifts Us— a community-powered night of art, light, and imagination inspired by Lorain native Toni Morrison and the celebration of 250 years of the United States.
This year, the festival expands beyond performance into participation—
everyone is invited to create, connect, and help shape the FireFish Parade and finale.
Expect immersive art, hands-on experiences,
and a celebration made rich by community participation.
