Once again we ask Tawa to come together to collect food and essential items for local families in need.
One in three New Zealand households experiences food insecurity, with food costs having risen 24% for a family of four since 2021.
The food bank in Tawa has been so busy and it’s not getting less.
Life continues to be hard on many families and our neighbours here in Tawa.
It’s a burden we often don’t see.
There will be the usual sausage sizzle and a team of amazing people to gratefully accept your donations and give out hugs!
Rotary- Inner Wheel and the Salvation Army will welcome you at New World Tawa!
