At the Stithians Festival of Lights 2024, you can expect a community celebration filled with festive joy and local spirit. The event will feature a lively illuminated Tractor parade supported by the Falmouth Young Farmers and a Lantern Parade, supported by the local children where beautifully decorated tractors and hand-crafted lanterns light up the streets, creating a truly magical atmosphere. Families and friends come together to watch the parade and celebrate the start of the Christmas season.
The highlight of the event is the Village Christmas Lights Switch-On, where the whole village is illuminated in a stunning display of lights, transforming the area into a festive wonderland. The switch-on is a special moment, that brings everyone together to kick off the festive season in style.
There will be a Christmas Market offering a variety of stalls selling crafts, gifts, and festive treats. You can enjoy delicious street food from local vendors, warm yourself with hot drinks or mulled wine, and explore the selection of freshly cut Christmas trees for your home. Children will find plenty of entertainment to keep them engaged and excited, making it a family-friendly event full of cheer.
