Stillness in Leadership with Special Guest Swarupa Mahambrey
About this Event
When life speeds up, our first instinct is to rush along with it. But reacting isn't the same as leading. Stillness in Leadership shows you how to turn a deliberate pause into your greatest advantage. Stillness isn’t about standing on the sidelines; it’s about taking control of your reactions so you can make clear, confident decisions under pressure. Whether you're guiding a team at work, organizing a community, or managing a busy household, you'll learn how to lower your stress and become an anchor of calm for the people who rely on you. You'll walk away with simple, everyday habits to cut through the chaos—proving that when the world gets loud, the most powerful thing you can do is get quiet.
Swarupa Mahambrey is Vice President of Software Engineering at the College Board, leading the technology behind the Advanced Placement (AP) and College Readiness Access (SAT/PSAT) portfolios.
With over 25 years in software engineering and technical operations, she has led the cloud transformation of the College Board's core assessment systems and spearheaded the shift from paper-based model to digital assessment, launching the AP Digital Exam platform in 2020 amid the pandemic, supporting roughly 3 million students through one of the most disruptive moments in modern education, and later leading the technology behind the SAT's complete transition to digital testing, delivered internationally in 2023 and across the U.S. in 2024.
Prior to the College Board, she was a consultant at Tata Unisys (Infotech) Ltd, delivering technology initiatives across six countries.
