About this Event
**STILL HERE EUSTON** is a series of public meetings exploring how residents and Camden Council can communicate and work together more meaningfully.
The series creates a constructive space to discuss residents' experiences of consultation, housing, repairs and other local services. Processes can sometimes feel difficult to navigate or disconnected from the realities people face -for example, when families living in overcrowded homes are repeatedly encouraged to bid for housing despite having little realistic prospect of success. By bringing residents and decision-makers into conversation, we hope to identify practical ways to make these systems clearer, more empathetic and more effective for everyone involved.
Better communication and a shared understanding of processes could improve residents' quality of life, make better use of time and resources, and help ensure that local services and decisions respond to the community's needs.
Our longer-term aim is to establish lived-experience panels whose knowledge can inform future policy reviews, proposed developments and decisions about Euston's regeneration. As the area changes, many residents are understandably concerned about the possible displacement of established communities. These meetings provide an opportunity to recognise those concerns early and work collaboratively towards a future in which Euston's communities can remain, participate, and thrive.
