Stewardship Workday: Trails and Trash at Blue Indigo Preserve!

Meeting location: 5056 Stanley Road, Durham, NC 27704.

What to bring: A water bottle, closed-toed shoes, and clothes you don't mind getting dirty. Feel free to bring your favorite work gloves, bug spray, sunscreen, or trail tools!

What we bring: Extra water, bug spray, sunscreen, breakfast, granola bars, work gloves, and all the tools and equipment you'll need! If you'd like to make a donation to help cover the cost of these items, you can do so at this link.

What we'll be doing: We''ll have one crew using shovels, wheelbarrows, and a pickup truck to move gravel from a drop-off point and lay it down to raise a muddy section of trail. Our second crew will focus on picking up trash along the road in the neighborhood. We welcome new volunteers!

Qúe haremos: Vamos a tener un grupo usando palas, carretillas, y una camioneta para mover gravilla desde un punto de entrega y ponerlo para elevar una sección embarrada de sendero. Nuestro segundo grupo se concentrarán en recoger basura al lado de la calle en el barrio. ¡Damos la bienvenida a voluntarios nuevos!
