History of the Blues is an immersive live concert experience led by legendary Western Australian bluesman Steve Tallis. Combining powerful live performance, storytelling, cultural history and musical education, the show takes audiences on a journey through the origins and evolution of blues music.
The performance explores the artists, songs and traditions that laid the foundations for modern rock, folk, soul and popular music. Audiences gain insight into the lives, struggles and creativity of the musicians whose influence continues to shape music today.

About Steve Tallis
Steve Tallis is one of Australia's most respected blues and roots artists. Over a career spanning decades, he has performed throughout Australia, Europe, Asia, Africa and the United States. His music draws from blues, folk, world music and ancient traditions, creating a unique and deeply authentic sound.
Steve has shared stages with internationally renowned artists including Bob Dylan, Van Morrison, Buddy Guy and Joe Cocker. He is a WAMI Hall of Fame inductee and creator of the iconic RTRFM radio program Spoonful of Blues.
