Join us for a day to celebrate hometown literary hero, Sterling Lord with the Burlington Public Library Writer's and Reader's Festival! The day-long event will kick-off with an opportunity to talk with local authors and shop their collections. We invite all readers to join us for a catered lunch while everyone swaps their favorite book titles and picks up recommendations from others. The afternoon will have several writing workshop opportunities for aspiring authors to learn from those already published, and a special story time will honor the library's past children's librarian and author, Debbie Wagenbach. This festival celebrates the writers among us and the reader in all of us. All are welcome; no registration required to attend as a learner.
