On Sunday, April 19, something beautiful and extremely questionable will happen at the Columbus Club in Niagara Falls.
Some people will show up confident.
Some will show up nervous.
Strangers will become teammates.
Grown adults will high-five like they just discovered electricity.
Some will show up just hoping their blind draw partner doesn’t throw like they’re aiming at another province.
And at least one person will shout:
“DID WE JUST BECOME STEP PARTNERS?!”

8:00 AM – Doors Open
Coffee. Bags. Mild trash talk.
9:00 AM – Bags Fly
🎯 Tier 3, 4 & 5 Singles – 9:00 AM
• 1 warm-up game (10-round limit)
• Double elimination bracket to follow
• 12 players max in each division
The early grinders.
The sleepers.
The people who said they were “just coming to hang out.”
🤝 Open Doubles – 12:30 PM
Rounders chaos begins.
• 4 game rounders (10-round limit)
• Field splits into 2-3 tiers
• Double elimination bracket to follow
• 32 teams max
🔥 Tier 1 & 2 Singles – 5:00 PM
• Straight double elimination bracket
• 12 players max in each division
🤣 THE MAIN EVENT
STEP PARTNERS BLIND DRAW – 7:00 PM
• Straight double elimination bracket
• 24 players max
You draw a random teammate.
Maybe they’re a sniper.
Maybe they throw like a medieval catapult.
Either way…
You’re family now.
FINAL WARNING
You may arrive alone.
But by the end of the night you’ll either:
• win a tournament with your Step Partner
• or loudly say “we should have practiced karate in the garage first.”
Either way…
It’s going to be legendary.
