Building Safer Communities Grant Program Impact Event

Niagara Region is pleased to invite you to the Building Safer Communities Grant Program Impact Event to celebrate and share the successes of programs funded through the Building Safer Communities Grant Program. The Grant Program supported community-based initiatives for children, youth, and young adults who are at risk of gun and gang involvement.

This event is an opportunity to learn how funded services work together across the community to support young people and families, with a focus on priority populations, including Black youth, girls and young women, Indigenous youth, and newcomer youth.

Connect with funded organizations and learn about programs, services, and outcomes.

Learn through impact stories – brief case studies highlighting results and key learnings.

Contribute ideas to help sustain and strengthen this work going forward.

We will also recognize the organizations supported through the Grant Program, including Future Black Female; Niagara Resource Service for Youth (RAFT); Crime Stoppers of Niagara; Niagara Peninsula Aboriginal Area Management Board (NPAAMB); FACS Niagara Foundation; Contact Niagara; John Howard Society of Niagara; Community Addiction Services of Niagara; and Quest Community Health Centre.
