Come Sing Sea Shanties at Steam Town!Join the Shanty Sessions every Monday from 8 to 9 pm for a relaxed, fun hour of sea shanty singing.
Everyone’s welcome – all genders, all voices. No auditions, no experience needed – just come along and join in! Over 18s only.
We sing a lively mix of traditional and not-so-traditional shanties. There’s no pressure to perform – we’re all about singing for the joy of it.
The sessions are led by the Steam Town Shanty Crew. Printed lyric sheets for all songs are provided by Nick, and dyslexia-friendly versions are available if needed.
Sessions are just £5 (cash). It’s totally pay-as-you-go – no sign-up, no commitment, just good vibes and hearty singing and your first session is Free!
Please note there will be no session at Steam Town on Monday 12th January as Steam Town will be closed for their Staff Party
