About this Event
Our adventure takes us to a forested trail that leads to a beautiful alpine lake. The whole journey is stunning with some amazing views along the way. You will feel refreshed and empowered after this hike. Total distance is just under 12km round trip elevation gain of 449 m . Stay and Play guided hikes pair a scenic, small-group trek in Alberta’s Rockies with relaxed hangout time by the lake, giving you space to unwind, connect, and truly soak in the mountain experience. You might enjoy swimming or wading, relaxing in the sun, napping, creating art, taking photos, or simply lingering with snacks and good conversation by the water’s edge.
This is an intermediate trip that has elevation gain. If you are not sure if it is a good fit, send a pm and we can chat to see if it would be the best one for you.
Meeting at the trailhead at 9:15am It is a bit of a drive to get to the trail head, please consider staying close by, (Canmore or in Kananaskis) the night before or plan on a early start. (Approx 2 hour drive from Calgary) Parking is along the highway or a pull out near Mount Edgadine Lodge.
Hiking time is variable depending on the group. There is always plenty of time for lunch, photos and discussion. The end time in Eventbrite is just an estimate.
