Sedgwick County is one of the most influential counties in the entire state and advocates for the August judicial amendment have emphasized one thing again and again: if Sedgwick County shows up, the amendment has a real shot at success!
We are bringing together a full, high‑energy volunteer force for a Saturday of voter outreach, training, community connection and great food. New AFP volunteers must attend at least one training session before knocking doors.
🅿️ Parking Instructions
Enter the drive‑up ramp on the south side of the building.
Follow the ramp up to the second‑level parking lot on the north side.
🗓️ Full Schedule for Saturday:
8:30am: Volunteer Breakfast at The AFP Office
Breakfast Includes:
Greater Grounds Coffee & Co with freshly ground coffee and fresh pastries!
9:00am: Door‑Knocking Training #1 at The AFP Office
Required for all new AFP volunteers.
10:00am-12:00pm: Door‑Knocking Shift #1
12:00pm: Volunteer Lunch at The AFP Office
Lunch Includes:
Jason’s Deli with Sandwich/wrap trays
1:00pm: Door‑Knocking Training #2 at The AFP Office
Second opportunity for new volunteers to get trained.
2:00pm-4:00pm: Door‑Knocking Shift #2
5:00pm: Volunteer Dinner at The AFP Office
Dinner Includes:
Meddys with chicken, shawarma, beef shawarma, falafel, rice, hummus, and Greek salad
This event is designed to help volunteers connect with voters, answer questions, and ensure the community knows what’s on the ballot in August!
