This year's winter orchestra concert is gonna be a memorable one!This year, our orchestra director, Darrell Brown, has invited not one but 5 special guests, members of the Statesboro First United Methodist Church Choir, and the Southeast Bulloch High School Advanced Chorus to perform alongside the Statesboro Chamber Orchestra.
They'll be performing highlights from Handel's Messiah, which will include solo performances by Soprano Megan Barrera and Mezzo Soprano Jennifer D'Agostino as well as the choir from Statesboro First United Methodist Church, Chancellor, Jackson Borges, director, and the Southeast Bulloch High School Advanced Chorus, Brent Whitaker, director.
Additionally, they'll perform compositions written by our guest, Jeremy Woolstenhulme, and a few pieces by composer Heitor Villa-Lobos.
This event is FREE and everyone is welcome to attend!
This year, we are NOT asking you to reserve your seats ahead of time. So, when December. 4th comes around, it's up to you to get here and claim your seat in the theater.
