The Worcester Education Collaborative invites you to State of Education 2026: A Shared Vision for Worcester’s Students, a public civic forum bringing together educators, families, community leaders, policymakers, business leaders, and residents for an important conversation about education in our city.
This forum will examine key data, lived experiences, and the pressing challenges facing students and schools today. More importantly, it will create space for shared learning, meaningful dialogue, and a call to action for stronger, more coordinated community partnerships.
The conversation will feature insights and perspectives from:
- Brian Allen, Superintendent, Worcester Public Schools
- Viviana Abreu-Hernandez, Mass Budget & Policy Center
- Chad D’Entremont, Rennie Center
Together, our speakers will help provide a deeper look at the current educational landscape, the data and policies shaping our schools, and the opportunities ahead for students.
We believe that creating an equitable and excellent education system requires all of us. Whether you are an educator, parent, student advocate, nonprofit leader, business professional, or simply someone who cares about the future of our students, your voice belongs in this conversation.
Join us on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM at Worcester Technical High School as we come together to better understand where we are and build a shared vision for where we need to go. Lunch will be provided to all attendees.
