Join us for the Stars & Strides 5K Run & 1-Mile Walk for Veterans!
Our local veterans answered the call to serve our country. Now it's our turn to give back.
Join us on Saturday, September 12, at Lakeland Community College for a morning of community, purpose, and fun. Run, walk, or push a stroller—everyone is welcome, including kids!
Every step you take helps provide critical home repairs for veterans in Lake and Geauga counties through Lake-Geauga Habitat for Humanity's Veterans Repair Program. Proceeds will also help build Home #101 in Geauga County, providing affordable homeownership for a local veteran family.
For many veterans, a safe home means the ability to age in place, regain independence, and live with dignity. Whether it's replacing a failing roof, rebuilding unsafe steps, installing accessibility improvements, or helping a veteran family achieve homeownership, your participation creates lasting change right here in our community.
Not a runner? You can still make a difference by becoming a sponsor, hosting a vendor table at our Veterans Resource Fair, donating a raffle prize, volunteering, or simply cheering on participants from the sidelines.
Save the date, invite your friends and family, and help us honor those who have served—one step at a time.
