STARGAZING in the Parklands returns for its second session of the year on Friday, May 22 at 8:30 PM, and it’s the perfect time to look up.With the excitement surrounding Artemis II, NASA’s first crewed lunar flyby in over 50 years, there’s renewed energy and curiosity about what’s happening beyond our world. This event offers a chance to connect with that sense of exploration right here in Wyomissing.
Join us on the West Slope of the Parklands as our friends from the Berks County Amateur Astronomical Society lead the evening. Their team will guide participants through the night sky, sharing insight, answering questions, and helping you experience the stars, planets, and constellations in a whole new way.
Whether you’re new to stargazing or have joined us before, this is a great opportunity to spend time outdoors, learn something new, and enjoy a peaceful spring night under the stars.
Bring a blanket or chair, dress for the evening temperatures, and get ready to LOOK UP!
