StarDusters Dance

The Waltz is the foundational ballroom dance. It's the original partner dance from centuries ago that became so popular it was picked up by European royalty. Today, it's still the favorite dance of so many ballroom dancers because it incorporates all the elements that make dancing fun: the movement is graceful and flowing and the music is so beautiful and emotional that there is lots of opportunity for interpretation and expression.
We'll feature the Waltz at this dance and we'll have National Champions, Jonathan Medlin and Malin Allert, to get us started with an hour-long group class. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced ballroom dancer, by the end of this class you can be sure that the figures and techniques Jonathan and Malin demonstrate will add to your enjoyment of the Waltz.
