Saturday, March 21: Libeled Lady (1 hour, 38 min)
A wealthy socialite sues a major newspaper for libel after being falsely accused of breaking up a marriage. The newspaper’s frazzled editor devises a scheme to frame her in this 1936 screwball comedy featuring a star-studded cast including Jean Harlow, William Powell, Myrna Loy, and Spencer Tracy.
Saturday, April 18: Ninotchka (1 hour, 50 min)
Ninotchka, a stern Soviet diplomat played by Greta Garbo, is dispatched to Paris to oversee the sale of jewels seized during the Russian Revolution. Ninotchka’s icy exterior gradually melts as she is charmed by a dashing Parisian count in this satirical romantic comedy released in 1939.

This 1938 swashbuckler film stars Errol Flynn as Robin Hood, the legendary English knight who stole from the rich to give to the poor, in vivid Technicolor. Joined by a merry band of outlaws, Robin Hood wages an epic battle against the scheming Prince John (Claude Rains) while striving to win over the beautiful Maid Marian (Olivia de Havilland).
