About this Event
Join DC Bird Alliance for Warblerpalooza at Lower Senate Park, a celebration of spring migration at its most vibrant.
Each year, warblers and other migratory birds pass through DC, bringing flashes of color and song to our city’s green spaces. Lower Senate Park offers a unique mix of open lawn, mature trees, and nearby water features, creating a dynamic setting for spotting these seasonal visitors.
This walk is designed to be welcoming and accessible to all levels. We’ll move at a relaxed pace, pausing often to observe, listen, and share tips on identifying birds by sight and sound. Whether you’re brand new to birding or returning for another migration season, Warblerpalooza is a chance to tune in and experience the magic of spring.
We'll meet on Delaware Avenue side of the Senate Fountain, coordinates are 38.89456, -77.00823.
