During the session, you will learn how ageism can show up in everyday life, how it can lead to unfair treatment, and why it is important to recognise and challenge these behaviours. The presenters will also share practical ways to speak up for yourself and support others, along with simple tips for building confidence, staying informed, and ageing positively.

It is ideal for anyone who wants to better understand their rights, feel more confident navigating change, and contribute to a respectful and inclusive community.
This event is part of the Mandurah Seniors Centre’s free monthly information sessions, featuring guest speakers from community service providers. Sessions are open to all community members.
