About this Event
Engage with festival visitors, reach a diverse audience and network with other organisations in the Museum of Making's Italian Mill exhibitor space.
This is a liberating, award-winning uplifting annual event organised by a non-profit group of volunteers - by the community, for the community; the event brings together local campaigners, public services, charities, unions & support groups, artists, women's enterprise, sports and inspiring role models for a safer, fairer, brighter future for women & girls.
Stallholders say that they benefit from being part of the IWD festival by raising awareness of their services, making new contacts, recruiting staff / volunteers / members, trading, and being associated with a positive event, showing a commitment to gender equality and engaging the diverse communities involved.
As well as the stalls at the festival, there will be celebrations with live performances, HERstory exhibition, crafts, activity tasters, and family fun. There will also be a march at 12pm from The Spot leading everyone via Cathedral Green and into the Museum for 1pm.
Please select the appropriate stall/ticket type when registering and please note the terms and conditions below which apply to your booking.
Stallholders can arrive from 12pm to set up on the day. The stall must be maintained throughout the whole event 1-5pm with no early take-downs; pack-away time is 5-6pm at the venue, to be vacated fully by 6pm.
The event is free to enter (donations appreciated) for all the community, and everyone is welcome - all genders, all ages, to help everyone in Derby & Derbyshire to celebrate and renew efforts towards gender equality. We look forward to celebrating with you!
