Beginner/Intermediate* Stained Glass Workshop – One Day Intensive

Join artist and art therapist Courtney Cox for a hands-on stained glass workshop designed specifically for beginners. In this immersive one-day studio experience, you’ll learn the fundamentals of stained glass while creating your own medium-sized piece from start to finish. No prior experience is required.
Participants will choose from curated beginner templates and receive step-by-step instruction in a supportive small group setting.
You’ll learn how to:
• Cut stained glass • Prepare and fit your pattern • Grind glass edges • Apply copper foil • Solder and assemble your piece • Finish and polish your stained glass
By the end of the day, most participants leave with a fully finished stained glass piece and the confidence of having learned a new hands-on skill.

⏰ Time: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM (includes a lunch break but plan to possibly go over time!) 📍
Location: POP! Arts Center 1600 Heritage Landing #110 💲
Cost: $225 Your registration includes:
• 6 hours of guided instruction
• All tools and materials provided
• Small group learning environment
• A finished stained glass piece to take home
Workshop Schedule
10:00–10:20 AM — Arrival, welcome, and introduction to materials 10:20–11:00 AM — Template selection and glass cutting demo + practice
11:00–12:00 PM — Pattern prep and begin cutting project pieces 12:00–12:30 PM — Glass grinding demo and grinding time
12:30–1:00 PM — Lunch break (on your own)
1:00–2:00 PM — Copper foiling demo and foiling your project 2:00–3:00 PM — Soldering demo and soldering time 3
:00–3:30 PM — Finishing, polishing, and wrap-up

This is a focused studio intensive—not a drop-in craft class. Your investment includes professional tools, materials, and guided instruction. Comparable multi-session stained glass classes often exceed $300–$400 once materials are added.
