Learn stained glass in a small, hands-on workshop at my studio in NVRLND. (Calgary). If you've ever wanted to try stained glass, this is your chance!

This is going to be fun! This guided, hands-on workshop is designed to be approachable and relaxed - with plenty of support throughout the process.

Create your own mushroom suncatcher or garden stake from scratch. In this class, you'll start with a pattern and choose your glass before running through the steps to cut and grind your pieces to shape. From there, we'll walk through my best foiling and soldering tricks to craft your glass pieces into a finished garden stake, ready for display in your window or in your plants.

You'll leave with an understanding of the entire stained glass process from beginning to end.

Who this class is for

• Anyone curious to try the full stained glass process
• All abilities :) Beginner-friendly!
• Ages 16+, or 13+ with an accompanying adult

• July 19 - 1 p.m. start
• Location: NVRLND. Arts Foundation - Studio 422: 1048 21 Ave SE, Calgary, AB T2G 1N2
• Duration: ~4 hours
• Small class size: Limited to 5 participants to keep things hands-on

Good to know

• Please arrive on time, we have a lot to cover and begin promptly at 1 p.m. :)
• Closed-toe shoes required - don't wear clothes you are in love with
• All supplies and equipment are provided, but you may choose to bring your own apron, safety goggles, or clean gardening gloves
• Lots of parking on-site!
• Class fees are non-refundable (*exceptions exist/spots may be transferred)
