Why Learn From Me?
From an early age, I’ve been a talker (just ask my teachers!). My love for speaking turned into a lifelong passion:
- Theater and debate roots: A theater kid who later competed in speech and debate during college.
- Professional expertise: Over 10 years as a facilitator in the NBA, panel moderator, and keynote speaker.
- Academic experience: Bachelor’s in Communication Studies from California State University, Northridge; Master’s in Education, Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Texas at San Antonio; Doctorate in Education, Education Policy, Organization, and Leadership from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
- Published voice: My work has been featured in “Communication Training Development: Exploring the Cutting Edge.”
Having led hundreds of trainings, I’ve been asked countless times how to improve public speaking skills. I believe it’s my mission to share the tools, tips, and techniques that have opened doors for me, and can for you too!
