Open Stables Day 2026 is part of “Stable Futures – Supporting Mental Wellness Through Horses”, EQUAL’s fundraising campaign to expand equine-assisted mental wellness programmes for children, youths, families, and seniors in our community.

For one day only, EQUAL is opening its stable gates to the public— offering a rare opportunity to get up close to the horses that support emotional wellbeing and connection.
Join us to:

• 🐴 Explore the stables on a guided tour and hear our horses’ stories
• 🌿 Learn how horses are cared for and how they connect with people
• 👋 Enjoy short meet-and-greet sessions with our therapy horses
• 🚶‍♀️ Experience a guided paddock walk in nature
• 🚜 Take part in tractor rides and light-hearted carnival activities, including a special challenge with a surprise prize

Please note: Covered shoes are required for horse activities (no flats)

As spaces are limited to ensure a safe and quality experience for both guests and horses, we encourage early registration.

Proceeds from this event and donations will contribute towards EQUAL’s “Stable Futures – Supporting Mental Wellness Through Horses” campaign to make these transformative programmes accessible to more individuals in need.

Terms and Conditions

1. Admission & Entry

• All visitors entering EQUAL must hold a valid ticket, including infants‑in‑arm.
• Tickets must be purchased online. Walk‑in registration is subject to availability and may be declined at EQUAL’s discretion. A small service fee charged by Eventbrite will be added at checkout.
• Accompanying persons without a valid ticket will may not be allowed entry.

• Visitors may enter EQUAL any time between 9:00am and 6:00pm on the day of their purchased experience(s).

2. Timings & Arrival

• For all horse‑related activities, attendees are required to arrive at least 10 minutes before their allocated activity time. Kindly refer to your physical ticket timing provided upon your registration.
• Latecomers will forfeit their allocated slot. Participation in subsequent sessions is subject to availability and will require the purchase of a new ticket.
• No refunds will be provided for late arrivals, missed slots, or no‑shows.

3. Activities & Time Slots

• Participation in guided activities is subject to limited time slots and capacity.
• Time slots are allocated on a first‑come, first‑served basis after registration.
• Purchase of a ticket grants eligibility to select a time slot but does not guarantee a specific time slot.
• Visitors who purchase multiple activities are responsible for ensuring their selected time slots do not overlap.
• No refunds will be provided for scheduling conflicts or user error.

4. Dress Code & Safety

• Covered shoes are mandatory for all attendees at all times. Flats, sandals, or open‑toed footwear are not permitted for any horse activities.
• Attendees must comply with all safety instructions given by EQUAL staff and facilitators.
• EQUAL reserves the right to deny participation in any activity if safety requirements are not met.

5. Weather & Event Conditions

• Open Stables Day is a rain‑or‑shine event.
• No refunds or exchanges will be made due to weather conditions.

6. Parking & Transport

• There is no parking available at EQUAL. Visitors are strongly encouraged to use public transport.

7. Use of Proceeds

• All ticket sales and event proceeds go towards supporting EQUAL’s Stable Future - Supporting Mental Wellness Through Horses fundraising campaign.

8. Photography & Media

• As this is a public event, attendees are deemed to have given consent to being photographed, filmed, and recorded.
• Such images, audio, or recordings may be used by EQUAL for future advertising, publicity, and promotional purposes without prior notice or compensation.

9. Assumption of Risk & Liability

• While on the premises, EQUAL will take all reasonable safety precautions to minimise physical risks.
• By booking tickets, each visitor releases, waives, and discharges EQUAL, including its Committee members, staff, partners, and venue owner(s), from any claims, costs, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from:
• Injury or death
• Loss of or damage to property
• Participation in activities or presence on the premises, whether on horseback or otherwise, and regardless of horse ownership.

10. Final Authority

• EQUAL reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions, adjust activity schedules, or refuse entry or participation in the interest of safety and event operations.
• All decisions by EQUAL are final.
