St. Andrew's Hall 70th Anniversary Gala

Reverend Doctor Andrew Stirling served as Senior Minister of Timothy Eaton Memorial Church in Toronto, one of Canada’s largest congregations, from 1998 until his retirement. He oversaw staff, offered visionary leadership, and represented over 1,500 members in a dynamic urban ministry.

He holds a BA in Politics and Law from the University of Cape Town, an MDiv from the Atlantic School of Theology, and a DMin from Acadia Divinity College. He also received an honorary Doctor of Divinity from Wycliffe College in 2008 and was named a Lifetime Fellow of Acadia in 2016. In 2019, Emmanuel College established a Homiletics scholarship in his name.

Andrew has authored two books, published over 55 articles, and served as a Visiting Scholar at Harvard Divinity School and an Academic Visitor at Regent’s Park College (Oxford). He was a founding faculty member of Augustine College in Ottawa.
