St Albans Dance Collective featuring Felix Oram, Temenos Dance Collective
About this Event
Welcome to St Albans Dance Collective
A new home for movement, music and community in the heart of St Albans.
Rooted in 5Rhythms and welcoming other conscious dance traditions, St Albans Dance Collective offers monthly movement meditation through music, guided exploration and free dance.
Every teacher brings their own musical style and approach, creating a unique journey through movement. There are no steps to learn and no choreography to follow. Simply arrive as you are, listen to the music and trust your body's pace, wherever the dance may lead.
Every teacher brings the music. Every dancer brings the dance. Together we create the journey.
We move at the Yoga Hall in the heart of St Albans, where a wooden floor and welcoming atmosphere invite you to dance.
Our opening class in September features Felix Oram (Temenos Dance Collective), followed by Flow Vulk on Saturday 10th October, with more experienced guest teachers joining us throughout the year.
Felix Oram is the founder of Temenos Dance Collective. With over 35 years of experience as a DJ, facilitator and movement practitioner, he is known for creating thoughtful musical journeys that invite presence, curiosity and authentic movement.
We meet once a month on a Saturday evening from 7.00 pm to 9.30 pm.
Whether you're discovering conscious dance for the first time or have been dancing for years, you'll find a warm welcome here.
Adults of all ages are welcome. No previous dance experience is needed, just curiosity, comfortable clothes and a willingness to move.
