Post-Production in Film and TV
This talk demystifies the entire post-production pipeline—from initial ingest and offline editing to finishing, mastering, and final delivery. Rather than treating post-production as an afterthought, the session highlights why early and continuous collaboration saves time, preserves budgets, and unlocks greater creative freedom. Attendees will learn how to align their technical choices (like codecs and resolutions) with their creative briefs by constantly asking the critical question: "Why?"
Mike Trevett has worked in Scotland's Broadcast TV and Film industry since 2015. Working for independent companies, BBC Scotland and Serious Facilities, Mike has experience as a Broadcast Editor and more recently as a Colourist and Online Editor.
