SSAFA Fundraiser: The Greatest Car Manufacturer Debate

For over a decade, A Driving Force for SSAFA has raised more than £850,000 in support of the Armed Forces community, and in 2026, we’re aiming to break the £1 million milestone. On 26th March we can EAT- DRINK - DEBATE CARS!

Join us on 26 March in London for our biggest fundraising event yet, where we’ll attempt to answer the ultimate question: Which car manufacturer is the greatest of all time?

We are also pleased to confirm keynote speaker JayEmm (James Martin), who will share his perspective on why Ferrari is the greatest car manufacturer of all time. Through his JayEmm channel, with over 168 million views and 476,000 subscribers, James brings Ferrari ownership to life by openly discussing the highs and lows of owning iconic models including the Ferrari 550, F12, and F430 Scuderia. He has also experienced and reviewed the vast majority of modern supercars.

The debate will be chaired by Alex Wolfe, host of the Wolfe Power Club—the number-one energy podcast on Apple Podcasts and TikTok. Additional keynote speakers will be announced soon, representing Aston Martin, Lamborghini, Ford, Porsche, and McLaren.

SSAFA (Soldiers, Sailors, and Airmen's Families Association) charity has one aim: to make sure that no one in the Armed Forces family ever battles alone. SSAFA is a trusted source of support for serving personnel, veterans, and their families in their time of need. In 2023, our trained teams of volunteers and employees helped more than 53,000 people, including veterans, serving personnel (regulars and reserves) and their families.
SSAFA understands that behind every uniform is a person. And we are here for that person and their family, any time they need us and in any way they need us. Through our worldwide network of branches, service committees (serving community teams) and specialist services, we’ve more than 2,500 volunteers, which includes trained SSAFA caseworkers who provide personalised support to those in their local area

• Ford – From the Model T to the legendary Le Mans-winning GT40.
• Lamborghini – The original supercar pioneer, from the Miura to the iconic Countach.
• McLaren – From the road-going F1 to a Le Mans debut victory and now World Champions in 2025.
• Porsche – Everyday usability meets supercar performance; the 911 is on every petrolhead’s bucket list.

What to Expect: This special evening brings together some of the UK’s most passionate automotive personalities: manufacturers, dealers, racing drivers, YouTubers, and more, with announcements coming soon. Alongside the debate, we’re reintroducing the chance to pay for votes to help your chosen manufacturer claim the crown, with every penny raised supporting SSAFA.

The night will also feature an exciting charity auction, offering incredible prizes ranging from supercar lunch experiences to yacht days, parachute jumps, and much more. Join us for an unforgettable celebration of automotive greatness, all in support of a remarkable cause.
