January 21st is NATIONAL SQUIRREL DAY, and all Carson City families are invited to come celebrate the silliness with a few friends from the community! Miss Haley from the library will lead a squirrel-themed story time and craft, Wildhorse Children’s Theatre is inviting some of the most adorable squirrels to have ever graced the BAC stage, and you might even get inspired to sing a squirrel song and play a squirrel game or two!
Mark Tuesday, January 21st on your calendars, 3:30p-5:00p, at the Seely Loop amphitheater in Mills Park! (If you're not familiar with the location, google map "Seely Loop" - it's the east side of the park, closer to the high school/Saliman)
This squirrel party will serve as a ribbon-cutting of sorts to commemorate a new squirrel statue, created by artist Jeff Schomberg, and donated to the City by the Chamber of Commerce Leadership Class of 2024 and donations collected as part of its class project.
