About the instructor: Samantha Hallenus is a beloved art instructor in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana, where she has taught classes since 2005. She has been instructing youth since 2009 with the local recreation department. She earned a Bachelor's Degree from the University of New Orleans where she also took art classes. She is currently a member of the Jefferson Parish Recreation Department. Prior to 2012, she was showing throughout Louisiana, had art accepted into juried shows, and studied with renowned watercolorists.
