Second Saturday March 8, 2025 - Bowls will go on sale 12:00 noon. Soup starts at 2-5 PM. In 2008 Nancy Moynan, of the Old Town Merchants Association, established a new event. The mission was to benefit the Potters and Merchants of Bay Saint Louis. It was decided the potters would supply the bowls and the Merchants would supply the soup. Visitors would buy the bowls and be allowed to go to any merchant supplying soup for free. After the approved expenses from the budget are satisfied the money is split three ways between Old Town Merchants Association Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi, The Hancock County Tourism, and Ruth Roots.Souper MudFest is the Soupreme event of the year! Merchants are busy crafting Souperior soups for your tasting pleasure. When you donate by buying an artisan bowl the soup is free! Your donation supports our community. Arrive early for the best selection of bowls as they go quick! This year MS Mary’s SnoBalls is featuring a live demonstration by our famous artist Steve Barney and established a second place to purchase the bowls along with the Methodist church. (Note Big yellow stars on map below.) There is free parking In the BSL garage on Court Street.
