Celebrate the arrival of spring with Springtime in the Square, a special outdoor performance event at Pt Chevalier Library as part of Golden Festival, Auckland's age-friendly celebration recognising the talents, contributions, and wellbeing of older people in our community.
Enjoy a vibrant morning of live entertainment featuring Kairos, a folk blues duo known for their rich harmonies and soulful sound; the inspiring Young at Heart Chorus, made up of singers aged 70
and over; and a graceful Tai Chi demonstration by the Epsom Chinese Association.
Bring a picnic blanket, gather with friends and whānau, and enjoy a celebration of music, movement, and community connection. This free event is open to everyone. Morning tea and light refreshments will be available for attendees.
Golden Festival celebrates positive ageing and the valuable contributions older people make to our communities. Join us for a morning of entertainment, connection, and springtime
