Celebrate Spring with Silly Goose and friends: Willie the Worm, Rufus the Reluctant Dragon, Flora Flower, and of course, Val. Ventriloquist, composer, and musician Val Smalkin brings these characters to life with songs and comedy. You and your children will dance and sing along to Val’s award-winning songs; laugh at Silly Goose’s antics; learn about the life of Willie the Worm; rejoice when Rufus overcomes his reluctance; and help Flora Flower grow. Val’s program based on her book “Springtime Dance” is fast-paced, humorous, and guaranteed to please both your child and the child within you.
Val Smalkin is first a grandmother, second a composer/songwriter, third a ventriloquist, fourth a musician, and fifth a puppet-maker. In a career spanning 30 years she has co-produced and starred in a television show (It’s Kindertime) and appeared before audiences from California to France.
