Enjoy the beauty of spring on a guided wildflower walk at Bakers Mountain Park.Join a ranger for an easy, approximately 2-mile hike showcasing the park’s diversity of spring wildflowers, including trillium, bellwort, Solomon’s seal, little brown jugs, iris, anemone, bloodroot, and many more. Like a nature scavenger hunt, the walk will move at a relaxed pace with frequent stops and careful observation to spot and learn about the small blooms scattered along the way.
Meet at the park office for a prompt start at 2pm. Bring water and wear clothing and footwear appropriate for the weather and trail conditions. The walk is expected to last approximately 1.5–2 hours.
This program is free and open to all, and no registration is required.
