Spring Slam 2025

Welcome to Spring Slam 2025! We are offering two divisions each playing in separate tournaments. (You can purchase a ticket even if you have not chosen a partner.)

Division One: Rookie Rally 2.5–3.4 (Suggested Team Rating)

Skill Profile: These players are newer to tournaments—think of them as "tournament rookies." They’ve got the basics down: they can rally, serve consistently, and understand court positioning to some extent, but they’re still working on control, strategy, and consistency. A 2.5 player is a novice just beyond beginner status, while a 3.4 player is starting to dabble in smarter shots like dinks and drops, though not always reliably.

Division Two: Midcourt Mavericks 3.5–4.0 (Suggested Team Rating)

Skill Profile: These are your advanced intermediate players who’ve been around the block a bit. They’ve got a firmer grasp on strategy, can sustain longer rallies, and are beginning to exploit opponents’ weaknesses with better shot placement. They’re not quite solidly advanced (4.1+), but they’re beyond the early intermediate phase. A 3.5 player here is more consistent than in the lower division, and a 4.0 player is knocking on the door of advanced play.
