Spring Showcase: Opera, Stage & Screen 2026

The award-winning Ipswich Gilbert & Sullivan Society are delighted to be putting on an all new show this April, following our successful Spring Showcases in 2024 and 2025.

From the courtroom of Trial by Jury to captivating musical theatre classics and songs from your favourite films, our Spring Showcase has something for everyone. Immerse yourself in the enchanting world of opera, stage, and screen as our talented performers take the stage to showcase their incredible skills. Enjoy diverse vocal performances from Gilbert & Sullivan to Andrew Lloyd Webber, as well as songs from Ls Miserables, Cabaret, Wicked, The Greatest Showman, Fiddler on the Roof and more!

Gather your friends and round up your family because seating for this Showcase will be around tables of 8, complete with refreshments to enhance the experience! Don’t miss out - tell your gang to get ready for a group outing!

Limited parking is available within the Ipswich School staff car park (through a manned gate where one of our members will enter a code and let you in - staff car park enterance via Henley Road)

Preferably, for the Friday and Saturday evening performances, many single yellow lines are available for parking around Ipswich School and Christchurch Park (the single yellow lines prohibit parking 8am – 6pm Monday to Saturday). The best entrance of the venue for you to use is the side entrance along Ivry Street - there will be signage to make things easier.
