Spring Hike from the Beacon to Babble

Babble friends & hiking enthusiasts...

To celebrate Spring's arrival, come and hike with us from Ditchling Beacon to Babble - a 10 mile adventure from the Downs to the seafront.

Our previous hikes have always been a big success full of new friends, great chat, and awesome views. It’s the perfect way to get outside and connect with some new folk. After taking in the views we will end at Babble for some well-earned post-hike beers.

Dogs welcome with well behaved owners.

For an extra special treat, choose the £5 ticket which includes a glass of Everflyht sparkling wine for when we arrive at the vineyard.

The hike will be around 10 miles and take around 5-6 hours with a picnic stop and a stop at the Everflyht vineyard.

PLAN OF ACTION

Meeting time: 12:00pm Midday

Hike Start Time: 12:15pm

Meet Location: The Bull Pub (carpark), Ditching

End Location: Babble

Walk: Around 10 miles (around 5-6 hours, including a picnic stop and stop at Everflyht vineyard)

TO BRING WITH YOU

Please bring your own food and snacks! We will aim for a stop for lunch around 2pm in a nice picnic spot on the downs.

Make sure you wear your hiking boots and bring rain-jackets/appropriate walking gear.

ON ARRIVAL AT BABBLE

Cheers your happy hiker friends and let's enjoy a beer or two together (hopefully on the terrace!)

Please only reserve a ticket if you are definitely going to join us. We would appreciate being able to manage numbers and know how many to expect on the day :)

2) £5 ticket for a glass of Everflyht on arrival at the vineyard.
