Spring Foraging Walk

Join the first of the season in an ongoing series of foraging walks and workshops hosted by forager, food writer and instructor April Thompson.

Together we'll make Tax Day a little cheerier with a spring walk to learn about the many wild spring edibles already popping up in our lawns and gardens and how to safely identify and prepare them. This short walk will take you through two different community gardens where you can also glean free food in the growing season. Your instructor will share knowledge and experiences about foraging in and around the area, and resources for guests interested in continuing their knowledge of foraging and cooking with wild foods.

Some free spots will be set aside for laid off workers - reach out for a registration code as needed.
