Join yoga teacher, Claire Thomas, and sound therapist, Craig Winterburn, for an afternoon of yoga and sound. Combining their passion for movement and healing, you’ll be guided through a gentle flowing yoga practice, before being bathed in the resonant sound of Craig’s fabulous gongs.During this super treaty Sunday afternoon session, you’ll be invited to reconnect with your essential nature. After the dark Winter months, the Spring Equinox is a time of balance. The sun is returning and this will be reflected in the energising and expansive quality of the the practice, combining mindful movement, breath awareness, and deep relaxation. The yoga and sound journey will bring you gently into the present moment, inviting you to release deep seated physical and emotional tension, leaving you feeling totally relaxed and ready for the week ahead.
Suitable for students with a little or a lot of yoga practice. Please bring a blanket, cushion and plenty of warm layers for the sound journey. Yoga mats are provided. Arrive 10 minutes before we begin, to allow time to settle in to the space.
Please note that the session is not suitable for anyone who is pregnant.
Cost is £25
The venue is easily accessible by bus or train from the centre of Todmorden, and there is a mix of free and paid parking within a few minutes walk of the venue.
