Unused or expired prescription medications sitting at home can create a serious risk if they fall into the wrong hands. The Joshua ISD Police Department, in partnership with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), invites our community to take part in the upcoming Spring Drug Take Back Event.
Join us on Saturday, April 25, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Owl Stadium (811 Stadium Drive in Joshua) for this free community event. The event will be drive-through, making it quick and convenient. Simply pull through the designated area and hand your unused medications to officers for safe collection and disposal.
This program provides a safe and responsible way to remove unused medications from your home and help reduce the risk of misuse in our community. The service is anonymous—no questions asked and no identification required.
Accepted items include most prescription medications, including pills and liquid medications in consumer containers. For safety reasons, needles, syringes, injectables, and illicit drugs cannot be accepted.
Take a few minutes to check your medicine cabinet, gather any unused medications, and drive through to drop them off. It’s a simple step that helps keep our homes and community safer.
