Everyone's favorite Spring Cleaning Event is back and you're invited!From dog walking, to hosting a shelter dog for a weekend sleepover, there are many different ways that you can help!

🧡 No pre-registration is required. Newcomers are welcome and drop-in volunteers are encouraged!

Each participating volunteer can choose from the following events:
🐾 SLEEPOVER - Host a shelter dog for a weekend sleepover.
--> Sleepover participants will pick up a dog from the shelter on Thursday or Friday May 15th or 16th, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. and return the dog to the shelter on Sunday or Monday, May 18th or 19th, 2025.
Should you fall in love with your houseguest, you can adopt your new best furry friend, over the phone, for just $18!

🐾 DOG-VENTURE - Spring a shelter pup from the shelter for a fun-filled day out on the town.
--> Dog-Venture Participants will pick up a dog from the shelter on Saturday, May 17th, 2025 beginning at 9:00am, and return the dog to the shelter on, the same day, no later than 4:00pm.
Everything is better with a dog!
Whether you're taking a hike, a trip to grandma's, or back home to relax on the couch, getting out of the shelter for a few hours is essential for our pups! BONUS, it's super fun for humans too!
You will be provided with everything you need for a fun filled day, along with a list of dog-friendly places where you and your furry friend can safely enjoy!

🐾 Community Dog Walking X Keep Columbus Beautiful - Pick it up with pup.
Dog walkers and Community litter pick up volunteers are needed on Sunday, May 18th from 10:00am - Noon.
Staff will help you pick a shelter dog to walk around the neighborhood (while picking up litter) while we clean the shelter.
All supplies provided!
Community dog walking & Pick it up with pup registration coming soon.
