Want to know what it takes to become a dog warden? Franklin County Animal Care and Control is excited to invite our community’s kids (ages 8-12 years old) to a FREE Junior Dog Warden Program on Wednesday, April 23rd, from 10:00am to 3:00pm!
**Space is limited, and advance registration is required!**
The goal is to empower kids with the knowledge needed to stay safe around dogs while fostering a sense of responsibility and compassion for animals.
Through hands-on activities, engaging lessons, and of course, time with some adorable shelter pups, kids will walk away with valuable knowledge and insights to help them feel confident and safe around dogs.
What to Expect:
Dog Safety 101 – Learn how to safely interact with dogs in everyday situations.
Meet the Wardens – Discover how our team protects both dogs and people in our community.
Interactive Fun – Engaging activities, games, and plenty of opportunities for hands-on learning.
Puppy Playtime – A chance to meet some of our adoptable shelter dogs!
Snacks & Breaks – Time to refresh and connect with new friends.
**Space is limited, and advance registration is required!**
Let’s work together to build a safer, more informed animal-friendly community, one junior dog warden at a time!
